Improper Driving

Turn Not in Safety, Improper Turns, Improper Passing, Fail to Share Roadway; These offences put a strong responsibility on the driver of a motor vehicle to ensure that the movement they are about to make (turning, changing lanes, etc.) is done safely. While most of these traffic tickets are issued as a result of a collision, a police officer can give you a ticket for one of these offences even if you are not involved in an accident. Penalties include 2 demerit points and a fine of $110. This conviction stays on your record for 3 years.*

Why Fight Your Traffic Ticket?

Paying a fine and pleading guilty to a traffic ticket can have many more consequences than a hefty fine amount. Most traffic tickets have demerit points and as little as one conviction can increase your insurance rates.
